Solar Day is developed by Sparrow Hill. We are committed to building tools that respect your privacy.
1. Data Collection
Solar Day does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data.
We do not require accounts, sign-ups, or user profiles.
We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking tools.
2. Location Data
If you choose to use GPS, your device provides location data solely for calculating solar position and daylight information.
Location data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to Sparrow Hill.
You may also manually enter any location in the world without using GPS.
3. Network Usage
Core solar calculations run entirely on your device.
If you use SolarDay Pro, the app retrieves cloud cover data from a public weather service to provide short-term atmospheric context. This request includes latitude and longitude only, and no personal identifiers.
Solar Day does not maintain servers and does not store user activity.
4. Payments
SolarDay Pro is offered as a one-time purchase.
All payments are processed securely by Google Play. Solar Day does not receive or store payment information.
5. Children's Privacy
Solar Day does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Changes
This policy may be updated if functionality changes. Updates will be reflected here.
